Bio: Teacher and (amateur) model painter. I have lived all over the world, and wherever I have lived my paints and models have come along with me. From Shanghai to Budapest, I have enjoyed and found value in the hobby of Warhammer, and you can too!
Warhammer has offered me the chance for creative expression. Artistic endeavour. Time away from a screen. And the opportunity to focus on projects that I choose. I have also discovered a thriving international social scene where you can play friendly (and competitive!) games all over the world.
Workshop title: Warhammer Club - Fantasy and SiFi Model Painting
Workshop description: Warhammer Club offers students the chance to be creative. We will paint, construct, and develop a story around models that come from the universes of Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar science fiction and fantasy settings. We might even have a chance to get a few games in too!
The educational aims for our sessions will be to offer learning opportunities in mathematics, engineering, literacy, art, and design, and the acquisition of life skills via building, gaming, and reading. Our sessions will be structured and led by an experienced international teacher.
Students! By joining these workshops, you will be entering universes strange and uncanny. By the end of our three sessions you will have learnt much about the Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar, you will leave with four incredible models to be proud of and, perhaps, a hobby that will bring you joy for years to come.
