MIS Athletes Participate in ISST International Athletic Tournament

What a weekend! From Thursday to Saturday last week we watched the ISST Fall Season Tournament unfold, to yield high levels of sporting drama and all-round team spirit and fun. A huge thank you to all MIS parents and colleagues who supported the tournament’s success!

Teams of student-athletes traveled from MIS to our fellow ISST schools in Frankfurt, Zurich, Vienna Brussels, Paris, and the Hague and competed in volleyball and football. Meanwhile, we welcomed visiting teams from each of those schools to MIS for the Cross Country and Tennis tournaments that we hosted. Cross Country took place on our very own Meadow field, while Tennis was played over at Raschke Tennis Centre in Taufkirchen.

We congratulate all MIS athletes who took part in each of the eight tournaments being played last weekend all over Europe. Notable MIS successes include:

Junior Varsity Girls Football, who came 3rd

Middle School Girls Doubles Tennis, and Middle School Mixed Doubles Tennis, who each came 3rd

Middle School & High School Cross Country, who came 3rd overall

Junior Varsity Boys Football, who won their tournament in Brussels!

A special thank you goes to Jayson Bowerman and his team who led the organization of our Cross Country Tournament on campus, and to all the Sportverein volunteers who opened, supplied, and served in our FAB Booster Club on Friday & Saturday.
