Make It Happen
Outside of the scope of The Student Life Programme are student-led clubs and initiatives. Clubs meet during school hours, sometimes as alternatives to recess or during lunch break. Any MIS student can organize a club, empowering students to foster community, build their leadership and project management skills, and invest in their interests and passions.

Start Early
Age is just a number in Junior School. Students are empowered to give back to their community wherever they see a need. Book Buddies Club was founded by 4th-graders who know what it feels like to struggle with reading. They have story time and practice literacy skills with 2nd-graders on Wednesdays. The Tech Team Club helps run the slides and audio during Junior School assembly each Friday. Eco Committee meets Thursdays to organize sustainability projects.

Stay Busy
Many Middle School Clubs exist as alternatives to outdoor recess. Learn to fly drones and program robots in Coding Club. Work on your own projects in the Maker's Space in Textile Club. Chill out at Book Club. Or join LEGO Robotics Club, Newspaper Club, or Eco Committee, who are organizing a major change-maker summit this May. There is no excuse to be bored in Middle School.

Give Back
Senior School clubs include UNICEF Club, which organizes philanthropic initiatives dedicated to funding UNICEF projects. Global Issues Network (GIN) Club is dedicated to promoting United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and funding projects such as UN Crisis Relief and Save the Children charity.
